Your perspective on how marketing communication has evolved from one-way advertising to the interactive communication we have today is interesting. The Myspace example used especially stood out as it shows how social media has changed not only marketing but also the way people express themselves online.

The Sonic the Hedgehog example was a great way to demonstrate the power of consumer feedback. Instead of companies simply delivering a product and expecting consumers to accept it, social media gives audiences a voice that can directly influence how brands respond. That kind of immediate feedback can be incredibly valuable to marketers, while giving consumers a chance to help each other.

Your point about viral trends is also important. Trends can create tremendous exposure for a brand, but they can disappear just as quickly. This makes it important for marketers to understand their audience and participate in trends authentically rather than simply jumping on every viral opportunity. Plus, trends only last for a while.

Overall, I agree that technology and AI will continue changing marketing communication. The interesting question, really, is how companies can continue using these tools while maintaining the human interaction and authenticity that make social media so effective.
